Chukkar Farm TGIF Concert Series Presents: Capitol City Xpress
Fri, 17 Jul 2015 20:00:00 +0000

Capitol City Xpress Gives Big Band Treatment to Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder & More

At a time when the shrink ray of progress has made everything "mini" -- cars, cupcakes and sliders included-- it's good to remember back when things were big. Capitol City Xpress is one such a reminder: This live band puts the "big" back in big band music. Boasting a gorgeous, multi-layered sound, CCX features 16 musicians and two wonderful vocalists. Together, the group performs the music of not only swing kings like Glenn Miller but more contemporary artists like Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder and Norah Jones. Enjoy a magical and musical evening as the Xpress pulls into the scenic covered pavilion at Chukkar Farm. In addition to your picnic basket, remember to pack your dancing shoes -- dancing is encouraged during this special outdoors concert.
